Unless he speaks Chinese and can dance like Astaire overseas....

I recently finished Wuthering Heights. I liked it, but I think I'm gonna like the movie better. (Which is so not normal for me). I wanna see romantic figures sweeping across the moors, longing glances, haunted characters, and whatnot. I do not want to have to glance at the footnotes every time Joesph comes into a scene cause I can't for the life of me make out what the heck he's saying. Library reserves, here I come.





Plus I got that 80's song stuck in my head every time I picked up the book.

And then for easier fare I read the final book of Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events.


I lurve this series. I love how wickedly clever it all is. I love how the books always start by trying to convince you to not read the book cause its so tragic. I just gotta say that Lemony better be working on more books cause I'm gonna need my fix of cleverness again.




And I watched The Iron Giant which was good and made me giggle in places. I liked the style of it - kinda old school. It did not however blow me away. I need to be astounded by something. I have oodles of more books and movies from my last library visit though so I'm sure there will be something amazing in the lot.
