All over the map

I watched Away from Her last week. So very well done and so very very sad. The two main actors were phenominal. (And I'm so proud of myself for actually watching this one. I frequently borrow movies from the library that I know will bum me out, and then I never actually watch them to avoid the expected bummedness. Dumb, I know.)

Loved Dearly Devoted Dexter - even better than the first book. Book three is already on reserve. Who can't love a funny serial killer who targets other serial killers?

The Sharper Your Knife, The Less You Cry is a nonfiction book about the author attending Le Cordon Bleu cooking school. I picked it up cause I love foodie books and Le Cordon Bleu is where Julia Child learned to cook. Not a bad read, but for nonfiction I found it pretty fluffy and not so memorable.

Around the House and in the Garden was a terrific read. Another nonfiction book - this one about a woman redecorating her home after a divorce. Its mostly short short chapters and not very linear, but I found it perfect as a new home owner pondering what will make my house more homey.
